Hand-on Workshop Experience
We conducted our hands-on Open Ethics workshop at Odonien, Cologne's largest sociocultural venue in the independent arts scene.
Odonien is a unique environment where an open-air studio, nightclub, cultural center, event space, and workshop facility merge into one inspiring, industrial-artistic setting.
The venue features towering sculptural installations made from reclaimed industrial materials, creating an authentic "raw and real" atmosphere that perfectly embodied PIRATE Night's ethos. Participants gathered among artistic fire installations and metalwork sculptures, surrounded by the creative energy of Cologne's most innovative cultural space.
The combination of Odonien's inspiring industrial environment, tactile sticker materials, and structured question progression created psychological safety for participants to discuss ethics implementation challenges honestly—exactly the breakthrough conversations that drive real behavior change rather than surface-level awareness.
